A month later I obtained the spec sheet for my guitar’s serial number from Martin (for an unrelated question), and it listed the fingerboard as FSC Certified Richlite (it also lists the guitar as a DCPA4 Custom). My only concern would be how it holds up for refrets. As for the formaldehyde allegations, the solvents in nitrocellulose lacquer already cause cancer.
