Temperature rise class of motor
WebTemperature classification (also known as temperature class, or T class) defines the maximum surface temperature that a product destined for use in a potentially hazardous atmosphere is allowed to operate at, relative to an ambient temperature of -20°C to +40°C. WebFor a Class ‘H’ insulation system, the limit of temperature rise by the resistance method for a machine indirectly cooled by air, is 125K for the alternator’s armature (Stator) and dc field (Rotor) windings. For Classes ‘F’ and ‘B’, the limit of temperature rise is 105K and 80K respectively for the above windings.
